This modernly devised exhibition will “wander” through the district capitals in 2020. By using innovative teaching methods and the use of audiovisual and interactive technologies, the aim is to involve as many target audiences and people of all ages as possible in the anniversary year activities.
A unique collaboration is created with the cooperation of Department 14 (for Art and Culture) and the scientific institutions of the Carinthian Regional Museum and Carinthian Regional Archive. A scientific project team involving renowned external experts will, together with the three aforementioned institutions, develop the concept for the exhibition.
Contemporary and innovative
This exhibition project will form a dialogue with the population and go on a journey through 100 years of Carinthian history, starting with the central events from 1918 to 1920, and also provide an insight into Carinthia’s future. The present and future can be experienced via special communication channels and by means of accompanying programmes, whereby the aim is not just to remind visitors of times gone by, but also to convey the issues of the present and the future.
